Vinay Rodrigues is a currently a Research Fellow in the Human-Robot Interfaces and Interaction Laboratory (HRII) of Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT). He received his B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Mumbai, India in 2017 and his M.Sc. in Robotic Systems Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Germany in 2023. His master thesis was about Kinetostatic Analysis for 6RUS Parallel Continuum Robot using Cosserat Rod Theory where he worked on modelling and evaluation of boundary conditions for a parallel continuum robot at DFKI Bremen, Germany. His is interested in Learning and control for interactive robots.
